The Retreat
We are called to horses in our bones and in our soul, a calling that we cannot turn away from, and perhaps often don’t have the words for.
And…
To know our path and unique vision alongside horses means we can walk that work out into the world the way it is wanting to be felt, and where the duality of purpose of both horse and human can be deeply felt.
How do we know what our path with horses is and what the manifestation of that will be?
How do we create structure and form this path to speak the language of it and allow it to be created to its highest potential?
The answers are not often found in logic, but by sitting with the space of horse consciousness and allowing the horses to give us clarity on what their path with us is, and what our role alongside of them in bringing that forward will become.
The Vision and Path retreat is about the claiming of our calling with horses in both the spiritual sense and also the deeply practical one.
To put form to a higher calling, and know the how, that can encompass the support of our vision with horses, and know who we are called to serve in that space, the reality of bringing that to life and having the language to translate that to those that will resonate with our work.
This retreat is giving space to sit with our herd to feel what the horse consciousness is bringing forward for you, while also getting support and guidance of what to do with that clarity and the form it wants to take.
If you are a person right now that is called to the path with horses, is walking it, and are wanting to feel more deeply connected to your spiritual purpose with horses while also knowing what that is going to look like in the most practical sense, this retreat is for you.
We take four days in our time together to receive from the herd, those answers to purpose, and being supported in what do I do with that purpose.
What we bring into the space is a knowing of what it looks like to bring the purpose with horses to life, in a form and way that it supports the vision, in both the spiritual purpose of it and the practicality of holding a successful practice with horses.
Over the last 14 years we have sustained and held this vision alongside of our herd. Our work with the horses supports our retreat space, while also feeling deeply held with what our calling alongside of the horses is, and the evolution of where that takes us.
We understand how to tend to that space and empower others in their version of it.

Brittany Ashworth
Brittany Ashworth lives with her husband, horses and other animals on the traditional and unceded territory of the Secwépemc people, specifically Splatsín (Salmon Arm, BC).
Through her own business, Sacred Echos, Brittany serves as a Horse Medicine facilitator, Animal Communicator, Akashic Records Reader, intuitive, and educator. Her passion lies in bridging the gap of communication, understanding, and partnership between humans and animals. Her practice is deeply guided by the wisdom of animals, her intuition, and her love for teaching.
As a facilitator, Brittany strives to empower individuals on their healing journeys in a way that honours them on their unique path to healing. She recognizes each person as a unique individual with their own lived experiences, challenges, and truths. With a commitment to inclusivity, she creates a welcoming and safe space where all feel seen, heard, and supported.
Brittany’s dedication to supporting others and sharing the healing work of horses shines through in all that she does. She is honoured to guide and witness those who feel called to this transformative work.
Hillary Schneider
Hillary Schneider is the founder of Horse Medicine Leadership and Epona Rise Retreat Center.
She has spent the last 14 years dedicating herself to teaching and sharing the wisdom and medicine of horses to those that are called. Hillary runs her own 80 acre retreat center with a herd of 27 wise equine teachers, together they lead and facilitate retreats for those that are called to the wisdom and medicine of horses.
Since 2013 Hillary has been mentorship and teaching other equine facilitators that are looking for a path that empowers and is centered around the partnership with horses and what they have to teach us. She is deeply honored to share and teach this path with her herd of horses and grow this beautiful community of horse medicine leadership.
