Each year we run training retreats as part of our horse medicine leadership training programs.
For anyone wishing to train or step into our teaching, you are able to enter a retreat as part of your enrolment into our advanced training or full certification program.
Enrolling in a retreat is a really great opportunity to explore if our training and teaching programs are aligned for you, before you commit to the full training.
You are able to enroll in a retreat to start and then decide from there if you would like to continue.
Each of our retreats is designed to touch on the pillars and philosophy in our teaching program. You will be able to experience each aspect of our teachings in one of our retreats.
The way that we lead and facilitate our retreats is not linear. We learn from the horses guidance to hold each retreat in honor of who is here and trust the way each retreat is meant to unfold.
What you will receive in each retreat and the content that will be covered will include:
Deepening of horse medicine and herd behavior: how to interpret and understand the mirror of language of horses in all ways that they communicate with us.
Self Leadership: What horses teach us about our own self leadership and what is in the space for us to practice and learn in our own personal discovery.
Exercises and Activities: How we hold and facilitate exercises in the horse medicine philosophy and what it looks like to take the horses lead, honor their partnership and land in the learning that each activity offers us.
Each person that comes to a retreat may be at a different level, and we create the retreat to meet you where you are. We have a unique way of holding this work that is deeply powerful and valuable of where you are in this teaching.
You can pace yourself through these retreats. How many training retreats you do will be reflective on which entry point you are in our training and teaching program.
Training retreats are 4 days long.
You will arrive on a Wednesday and depart late Sunday or early Monday depending on travel.
