We officially enter into the Chinese New Year of the fire horse on February 17th.
What does it mean to ally with the energy of the horse and what does that mean for what is to come for this year?
Horses are powerful beings, they elicit an ethereal feeling, often bringing us into a mystical realm, they are also deeply earthly, grounded and bring intensity to the journey’s we face.
Horses are not always an easy energy to walk with, they demand integrity and truth, they ask us to have the courage to see beyond our masks, to walk our talk, to be congruent and to face what is ready for us to reclaim in ourselves.
To walk with horses means we are asked and initiated into a confrontation of false guards, that we are brought into a revealing that can sometimes feel intimidating, where we face our fears and challenge our doubts to anchor into the seat of our wisdom.
In our personal journey this year alone we have navigated the transition of two of our beloved horses, Hera and Cheveyo, neither we were expecting, both losses held for us a look into this year which said, hang on and find your way of being with change, to embrace the transition of energies for what is coming.
A shift in foundation, to form a new one, a complete rewiring of our system, a new anchoring, healing that we are ready for, that perhaps will come with a hint of what feels like deep wounding, but on the other side of that, tremendous opportunity for transformation.
What we want to do is to hold a space to share what we feel is coming through with this year's energy and what it means to journey with horses.

In our own experience of this year, what we have felt deeply for the horses is a challenge for us to reroute our pathways in how we experience our patterns and our defaults, our rigidities and our capacity to navigate the quickness of life and change, and to not lose our ground and our roots while doing so.
How do we walk with life, navigate the speed in which it often shows up, get comfortable with the uncomfortable while also finding a deeper connection to our source of wisdom and power.
As a woman who has travelled with horses for most of her life, that has lived intricately with them personally and has journeyed with them in holding for others, I understand the horse energy in my bones, I know all of the pathways they ask us to tread, all of the places they invite us into, the healing of it and also what often feels like being churned in it, to find what is on the other side.
We will bring in the wisdom of our own herd to see what they have to offer.
We will be talking about our interpretation of what the core themes of being with the horses are and how to find our roots while journeying with them.
Practices, and also a knowing that whatever life has to offer us this year in its intensity we will know how to journey with it.
