The Way of the Horse Retreat
A return to healing
In our path and relationship with horses we often come across a space where we both can hold wounding, and coming back to ourselves can be a space that we need to navigate.
In our sensitivity to our past, we can wear the scars of our wounding, and finding a place where we can gather trust again and be honored in who we are is a sacred dance and journey.
This retreat is about finding that path to healing, of honoring our sensitivity, our past and finding a way to step back into purpose that feels honoring to us and also honoring to our horses.
From the lens of the horses, we have a few horses in our herd, who came to us with more baggage than others, their deep sensitive nature, wore the scars of a mistrusted and mistreated relationship with humans that were seeking to be restored.
Honoring the desire of each horse in wanting to restore and heal that relationship meant we met them in that journey, we listened to their boundaries, we built the consistency of trust and gave room for them to be who they are in their deep and sensitive nature.
These horses are now brilliant teachers that give space and permission to honoring our past, our healing path and to support how deeply sensitive we are as human beings in the world, and how to navigate that while also honoring where we feel called to move back into purpose and relationship with others.
This retreat is not just about our own healing, it is about knowing how to support the healing in our horse partners, in those that we guide and being sensitive to how to do that in a way that supports and empowers each unique path of healing that we are on.
When we let the inspiration of the horse guide us in mirroring our own path, and to allow us the knowledge of how to empower other horses that perhaps are in need of the same healing, we find a way of deep honoring, remembrance and empowerment of our experience of life.
Who is this retreat for?
This retreat was created for those of us that are in partnership with horses that are needing to be supported in their healing journey with humans and finding a way to that path that honors our horse partners.
For those of us that feel like we are on a healing journey that can be mirrored in the courage of horses where we need to rebuild trust in ourselves and others.
For those of us that are wanting to understand more deeply how to support those walking on their healing path, of speaking a language rooted in sensitivity and how to empower those that are in need of a gentler journey back to healing.
What we will be landing in:
How to support and be aware of the baggage and wounds we hold and how to support them while honoring the boundaries of emotional safety for both horse and humans.
How to rebuild trust with our horses that require a path back to trusting the horse humane relationship and what we can learn from horses who have walked that journey.
How to read and understand sensitivity and boundaries in horses and humans that require us to have a knowing of speaking when it is ok for us to move into growth, and where we need to honor where an interaction feels like enough.
How to build consistency of trust in ourselves; with our potential clients and our horse partners.
How to honor and give permission to the unique journey and being of our horse partners, ourselves and our clients in what we have walked through in life.
This is especially a powerful retreat if you have a horse that you know needs deeper support in this path with horses and humans, and you feel you would also benefit from the mirror of this as well. This also gives some powerful teaching to bring into your practice, and empowering the horse partners that have chosen to walk this journey with you.
