Sacred purpose: A journey with horse medicine
Horses speak to the deepest part of our being, sometimes we know the full purpose of what that calling in, and other times it feels like a deep mystery.
Our paths and purpose with horses is also connected to their path and purpose with us, interwoven with our personal journey and what we feel called to hold in the collective of where we feel moved to contribute.
Purpose is not just a thing that we hold outside of ourselves, it is a deep space of living and knowing within us that horses can be a portal to unlocking.
The Purpose retreat is a space for us to land more deeply into the question of what is my purpose, and how are horses connected to it.
It is an opportunity for us to explore where our purpose and the purpose of horses interconnect and what is waiting for us in that space.
It is where we can answer the question, why are horses showing up in my life and where are they leading me?
The answer isn’t always in the form we expect, but to deeply touch and know the depth and space of purpose with horse medicine, is potent and life altering.
Where we find these answers is within ourselves while we are held in the consciousness of horses. Where can sit in the space of being received by them, answering this question of purpose and allowing the horses to show us the way forward.
Horses are gateways to the knowing of our own soul, where we can deeply listen and hear the part of us that holds the knowledge of lifetime, that can explain what sometimes feels like a mystery and can offer validation to where we feel called to this energy and space of horse medicine.
We do not need to have walked alongside horses for the entirety of our lives to answer this question or to feel worthy of this call and purpose with them.
This retreat is us remembering deeply who we are, why we are here, and why horses are singing so deeply to our soul.

What is included in this retreat:
We will be spending 3 days immersed in the space of horses and their medicine, in deep reflection and listening, being guided into a place where you can hear the answers to your questions and be felt and held in the herd.
You will also get the opportunity to receive both a collective and individual akashic reading to help dive into the records of your soul and path with horses to see what is held in that space in yourself. Your records will be held and received by Brittany Ashworth of Sacred Echoes, who has done many of these readings in the herd including with ourselves.
You will have time and space with nature, to reflect and integrate, with the herd to land deeply and leave with a deep knowing and confidence of what is next on your path.
This retreat is for anyone that is wanting to answer the question and inquiry of what is purpose and calling with horses, why are they showing up in my life and where is this path leading me?
The answer does not have to be an equine guided facilitator, it is an honoring of what your unique path and purpose of horses is for you in this space and time.
Meet your Facilitators
Brittany Ashworth
Brittany Ashworth lives with her husband, horses and other animals on the traditional and unceded territory of the Secwépemc people, specifically Splatsín (Salmon Arm, BC).
Through her own business, Sacred Echos, Brittany serves as a Horse Medicine facilitator, Animal Communicator, Akashic Records Reader, intuitive, and educator. Her passion lies in bridging the gap of communication, understanding, and partnership between humans and animals. Her practice is deeply guided by the wisdom of animals, her intuition, and her love for teaching.
As a facilitator, Brittany strives to empower individuals on their healing journeys in a way that honours them on their unique path to healing. She recognizes each person as a unique individual with their own lived experiences, challenges, and truths. With a commitment to inclusivity, she creates a welcoming and safe space where all feel seen, heard, and supported.
Brittany’s dedication to supporting others and sharing the healing work of horses shines through in all that she does. She is honoured to guide and witness those who feel called to this transformative work.
Breanne Kerr
Breanne Kerr was born on Treaty 6 land, raised on Coast Salish land, and is now visiting the Tk̓emlúps te Secwépemc lands. A lifelong learner to Mother Earth and the animals, she has humbly spent the last ten years learning and being integrated in the Indigenous Communities and Elders.
This has been a cherished part of her life and it has greatly impacted her work with the Equine Collective. Her gifts of space holding, witnessing, and guiding others on their return to themselves have been influenced by these teachings.
Some of her roles are Mother, Sibling, Daughter, Child and Youth Care Worker, Indigenous Community Outreach Worker, Craniosacral Therapist, Equine Bodyworker, and Horse Medicine Leadership Practitioner. She is passionate about sharing the Medicine of Horses to support transformation and healing with humans.
Hillary Schneider
Hillary Schneider is the founder of Horse Medicine Leadership and Epona Rise Retreat Center.
She has spent the last 13 years dedicating herself to teaching and sharing the wisdom and medicine of horses to those that are called. Hillary runs her own 80 acre retreat center with a herd of 27 wise equine teachers, together they lead and facilitate retreats for those that are called to the wisdom and medicine of horses.
Since 2013 Hillary has been mentorship and teaching other equine facilitators that are looking for a path that empowers and is centered around the partnership with horses and what they have to teach us. She is deeply honored to share and teach this path with her herd of horses and grow this beautiful community of horse medicine leadership.
