Online Certification Training
Welcome to horse medicine leadership online certification training.
We wanted to create a program that would bring the full pillars of our philosophy and teaching into an online program to support those that are seeking to enhance, begin and further develop their skills and confidence as an equine facilitator.
This program encompasses what we hold as our core teaching philosophy that we feel creates and develops mastery, not just in our facilitation skills, but also in how we hold our horse partners and our equine business.
If you are starting the journey of becoming an equine facilitator, continuing that journey with further development or are a part of our two year full certification program, this is a place that will support you in your journey.
Our horse medicine leadership is a 10 month journey, where you also receive lifetime access, meaning that you can continue to deepen your knowledge and journey with us each year without an expiration date.
The reason we have created this program this way is because we appreciate life happens and can be busy, and we wanted to create a spaciousness in which you are able to move through the program and be able to come back as needed, so you continue to have community support.
At the completion of this program and practicum you will receive a certificate of completion for this online training program, this program can be a wonderful complement to other training, or can be taken on its own.
We do recommend coming to our in person training retreats as well, and if that is not accessible to you, we have included a robust program of teaching and practicum in this online program to support you in your journey.
The modules that we go through include:

Creating Safety and Sacred Space in our Equine Practice:
This module series includes how we cultivate this safety for clients and our horse partners. In this module we talk about all places this is needed to be held, in our physical environment, mental, emotional, spiritual and the practical pieces that support this.

Self Leadership as a Facilitator
To be in our integrity as a facilitator we need to understand how we tend to and hold our own self leadership, this module series provides practices, teachings and self reflection that allow us to be responsible in our impact and how to support our own journey as human beings.

Honoring our Horse Partners
A core pillar in horse medicine leadership is how we are in relationship with our horse partners, this module series provides a depth around how we understand horses as beings both physical and intuitive, and how to support them in our practice. What true co-creation and co-facilitation looks like and how to empower the unique medicine of our horse partners. This module also is supportive of how do we call in our horse partners and also honor our current ones.

Facilitation and Leadership Development
This goes beyond just learning how to facilitate an activity, this module series provides skill building presence, and facilitation to support our clients in how they show up to a session. This module is also meant to empower and create confidence in our skills and build mastery in how we hold and guide each person during a session with our horses. If you are lacking in facilitation and leadership skills, this module will give you a robust and supportive skill set for you to feel confident in.

Core themes and Teachings of Horse Medicine
How do we bring language to what horses and their consciousness and way of life bring to our experience we cultivate for those we serve? This module series deepens into the teachings and way of horse medicine and how to weave and integrate these teachings and themes into our equine practice.

Activities and Exercises
This module series is where we can build our toolbox and be supported through a range of activities and exercises that are all horse lead, with supporting the consent of our horse partners and empowering them in how we create our experience for our clients. This module seeks to support you in what your equine practice will look like and provides you with ideas and examples of what exercises you can bring into your practice depending on the experience you want to curate and the clients that you are creating for.

Business Mentorship and Support
Developing and supporting our equine practice and business is an important aspect and part of what we like to support for anyone that goes through our program. This module series includes our business mastery program and 4 mentorship calls to support the equine practice and what arises as we are starting or growing our equine business.
Our module series includes, written and audio recordings, teaching videos to accompany, plus live teaching calls to deepen the teachings and support any questions that arise as you go through the material.
How long is this program?
Our online certification program is 11 months long, and includes weekly live teaching calls to deepen the material, along with the live teaching calls, we also provide practicum support for each module that is part of the requirement for your certification. You have the ability to journey through this program as many times as you would like, or what feels supportive for you.
What is the schedule:
Each round that we begin our live journey we will poll the participants in the group to create a schedule that is supportive as we can make it for those enrolled. Each call is recorded. There is also a private online community support that you can continue to ask questions and get access to faculty if you cannot make the calls.
What is included in this program?
40 + modules of teaching in audio, written and video to create a robust teaching with depth and support and resource material.
Lifetime access to the course materials and ability to go live each round each year as long as you find it supportive for your practice.
Access to our courses including, journey of equus, transitioning your equine partners, business mastery.
A certificate of completion after completing your practicum.

Meet Your Facilitators
Hillary Schneider
Hillary Schneider is the founder of Horse Medicine Leadership and Epona Rise Retreat Center.
She has spent the last 13 years dedicating herself to teaching and sharing the wisdom and medicine of horses to those that are called. Hillary runs her own 80 acre retreat center with a herd of 27 wise equine teachers, together they lead and facilitate retreats for those that are called to the wisdom and medicine of horses.
Since 2013 Hillary has been mentorship and teaching other equine facilitators that are looking for a path that empowers and is centered around the partnership with horses and what they have to teach us. She is deeply honored to share and teach this path with her herd of horses and grow this beautiful community of horse medicine leadership.
